What we do
ProCenseo’s solutions are focused on saving you money by making improvements to energy performance and carbon reduction in the commercial built environment.

The ProCenseo object-oriented modelling tool defines a virtual copy of your building. From that virtual copy, you can produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), assess energy improvements, produce CAD drawings and run a wealth of other facility management tasks.

We are building on our core competencies by working with leading academic and industry organisations to provide intelligent sustainability solutions for building owners and occupiers.

How we do it
At the heart of the ProCenseo solution is an advanced object-oriented modelling tool that defines buildings, assets and space.

The ProCenseo solution integrates both graphical and tabular data into a single model, through a programme of continuous development.  From this model a wide range of applications can be supporting including energy assessment.

ProCenseo can address the underlying behaviours or practices that lead to the high level of energy consumption in the commercial built environment.

Why we are different
Normally, people put the buildings in the centre when they think about how to improve the sustainability. Although it is not wrong to do that, it is far more important to put the organisation, its people and activities in the centre.  This can be done by asking questions like:

  • What can you do to reduce the energy consumption of this building?
  • How can you reduce the carbon emission while the organisation performs its mission?
  • The units organisations should focus on should be CO2 per employee rather than the CO2 per m2.
  • It is proven that optimising the use of space by 10%, will reduce the carbon emissions and energy consumption as well as the cost per employee by 10%. This is because more than 95% of the space related costs are proportional to the no of m2.
